Privacy policy

What we collect

Your first name and email address, when you create an account.

Your simulation answers: what you write in meetings, your decisions and reasons, the documents you write, your reflections, notes, mentor questions and interview answers, plus your progress and reports.

If you choose to fill in our feedback survey, your answers to it (all optional, including a general region such as “Jamaica”).

That’s all. We don’t collect your address, phone number, date of birth or anything else, and we don’t sell your information or show you ads.

Why we use it

To run the simulations, save your progress so you can carry on from any device, and create your feedback and reports.

To send you sign-in links by email. We don’t send marketing emails unless you choose to receive them.

To keep the site safe, for example by limiting how many requests one account can make.

AI feedback

When you use the AI parts of the site (colleague replies, the mentor, grading, interview feedback and the Field Fit Report), the relevant answers are sent to Anthropic, which makes the Claude AI, to generate a response.

Under Anthropic’s commercial terms, information sent through its service isn’t used to train its AI models. Anthropic may keep it for a limited time for safety and abuse monitoring, as described in Anthropic’s own privacy policy.

AI feedback is guidance to help you explore. It isn’t a hiring decision, a job guarantee or professional career advice.

Who helps us run the site

Supabase stores your account and saved progress, and handles sign-in. The data is stored in the United States (East US).

Anthropic processes answers for AI feedback, as described above.

Our hosting provider serves the website and keeps short technical logs.

When paid fields launch, payments will be handled entirely by our payment provider’s secure checkout. We never see or store your card details.

Each of these companies may only use your information to provide their service to us.

Cookies and browser storage

We use one essential cookie to keep you signed in. We also save your progress in your own browser so the site works quickly. We don’t use advertising or tracking cookies.

When you sign out, your progress is removed from that browser (it stays safely in your account).

How long we keep it

We keep your account and answers until you delete your account. When you delete it, your account, progress and reports are permanently removed from our database straight away.

Delete your account and all your data at any time from your account page.

To correct something, or for any other privacy question, email hello@mynextfield.com. You may also have rights under the data protection laws where you live, including Jamaica’s Data Protection Act, and you can contact your local data protection authority.

Keeping your information safe

The site only works over a secure (HTTPS) connection. Your data is protected by database rules that let each person reach only their own information, and our secret keys are kept on our servers, never in your browser. No system is perfect, but we take security seriously and will tell you if something goes wrong that affects you.

Children

My Next Field is for people aged 16 and over. If you believe a younger child has given us their information, email us and we’ll delete it.

Changes

If we change this policy, we’ll update the date at the top, and tell you by email if the change is important.
